Monday's Saying

I don't have a saying for today. But I do have a picture to post. It's of my grandparents. Looking at the picture it makes me think of all the different things my grandparents did for us kids. Like the trips to the park, library, pet shop, super market & the recycle center with grandpa. Going to work at the pre-school with grandma & my aunt Bonnie was always LOTS of fun. Grandma always had spearmint gum in her purse. As I get older I appreciate all the times they were there. They always showed they loved me. Even If I was being naughty (which was more times then not) they still loved me. I'm thankful for the relationship we have had and the influence they have had on my life.

Monday's Saying

So I know it's not really Monday anymore but I wanted to post something anyway.
Monday was a busy, fun, exciting day.
My day started off at 6:00 a.m.. Summer Camp started today and I have the early morning shift. 6:45 - 2:45, I was at the rec. center watching 24, 8-9 year olds with my 2 co-counselors. I enjoy the morning shift, even though it's WAY TO early to be waking up for me. :)
Summer Camp will be going 11 weeks so, I'll be pretty busy this summer. I have a couple trips planned while I'm busy being busy.
After work I came home then was off again to Lowe's to buy Tomato Cages for my mom.
FYI her garden is looking good. :)

The best part of my day was at 7:00 p.m. April & I had made plans to go out for a early birthday dinner to The Melting Pot. For those of you who are wondering, The Melting Pot is a REALLY good Fondue restaurant.

It was so yummy!!! I'd never been to a Fondue place before. April & Shawn had gone a couple months ago, so it was April's second time. Shawn, April & the kids are going to be gone during my birthday so, we had to do something before they left. Needless to say we had a really good time being able to talk, and not having to worry about anything. (Shawn watched all the kids so we could go out just the two of us.) It was a great way to end a busy day. :)

Tuesday is our first field trip for summer camp so we'll see how that goes. We're going to the Fort Worth Stock Yards this week. It's always a little crazy the first few weeks of camp, but we'll figure it out.

Here is the saying for this week. It's one I enjoy reading when I see it. It's something that reminds me in a fun sort of way, to wait for the "right" guy that the Lord has for me.

Anyway... hope everyone has a great week!! I'm off to bed since it's going to be another busy day. ;)
