Monday's Saying

Okay sooo you know that feeling you get when you think you need to loose weight, but everyone tells you that your "just fine the way you are" or "if you loose anymore weight your going to blow away."
Today's saying reminded me of that...

I realize that I'm never going to be 130lb.
I mean come on! Me 130lbs, I'd look like I'm dying!
Bone structure has something to do with that... :)
The only time I've weighed that much in the last 2 years, was after my surgery.
Even then Tom C kept telling me I needed to go drink some milkshakes. :)
That being said, it's not that I'm not happy with what I weigh, I just want to loose a LITTLE bit of FAT. So that's the goal... I'd like to loose around 21lbs.
And yes before you ask, I can loose that and not be sick.
It would put me around 150. At this point I'd even shoot for 155.
So my next goal?? Start using the gym membership that comes out of my paycheck every month. With Thanksgiving being this week, I think I'll wait till Monday next week.
Well hope everyone has a great SHORT week!!

Monday's Saying

So it's MONDAY!!!
We had a great weekend here. Saturday was Chili Cookoff 2012. The theme this year was storybook characters. So we had everything from Mrs. Piggle Wiggle to the whole cast of Snow White. I don't have pictures right now, but when I load them I'll post a few.
This year was by far the best theme, and time we've had since we moved here.
Sunday was a general men's meeting so there wasn't anything planned for during the day.
Sunday night was normal gathering, which I didn't make it to considering the fact that I had to be up @ 4 am. I have 2 more 4 am mornings until we head out to CA for my cousins wedding on Wednesday.
I'm looking forward to seeing family we haven't seen in a long time! And enjoying a little bit warmer weather.

So today's saying is actually a poem... It reminds me of my Grandpa Billmeyer and all the times we went to the Library, Pet Store, Park, Grocery Store (for ice cream) and Recycle Center. The smallest things meant the most when I was growing up. Now that I'm older I appreciate all the things my grandparents did for me. They are the "Perfect" (since no one is perfect) example of a best grandparents a kid could have.
Always loving, but firm at the same time. Anyway hope you all have a GREAT week!!
